We have developed very compex and specialized e-commerce solution for one of the leading ski equipment producers, which offers wide range of features: from online sales of equipment to ski seasonal tickets top-ups. The system is highly scalable and specialized. It was base on AJAX technology and commercial Backbase framework. The most significant feature of AJAX is the incresead resonsivenss and interactivity of web pages achived by its ability to communicate with the server "behind the secenes", so that web pages do not have to be refreshed constantly. This increases a web page's interactivity, speed, functionality and usability. Our system was implemented in many ski resorts in Alps and Japan.
